Connect short messages without turning breadth into an unlimited promise
Connect short messages without turning breadth into an unlimited promise A passing viewer and a deliberate reader have different opportunities to understand a message. An original cultural-centre campaign could use a short poster to identify a particular activity, then a programme page to explain booking and access. Assign the question before writing the headline: what is this, who is it for, or where can I learn more? Trying to answer all three in equal detail may leave none clear. The brief should name the information that belongs elsewhere rather than treating omission as a design failure.
